Data sync issues can cause outdated or missing information. This guide helps identify and resolve sync problems.
Identifying Sync Issues
- Data appears outdated or stale
- New users or resources not appearing
- Changes not reflected in Bleach
- Sync status showing errors
Check Sync Status
- Go to Integrations → [Your Integration]
- View "Last Sync" timestamp
- Check for sync error messages
- Review sync history log
Manual Sync
- Click "Sync Now" to trigger manual sync
- Wait for sync to complete
- Check if data updates
- Review any new errors
Common Causes
- Large data volume: Initial syncs take longer
- API throttling: Provider limiting requests
- Permission changes: Access revoked for some data
- Service outage: Provider experiencing issues
Resolution Steps
- Wait for any in-progress sync to complete
- Check provider status page for outages
- Verify integration permissions
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting
- Contact support if issues persist
Sync Frequency
Adjust sync settings if needed:
- Real-time: Immediate updates (when available)
- Frequent: Every 15-30 minutes
- Standard: Every 1-4 hours
- Daily: Once per day
