Using Policy Templates

Overview

Bleach provides pre-built policy templates based on industry best practices and common compliance frameworks. Templates help you get started quickly.

Available Template Categories

• Access Control: MFA, password policies, session management
• Data Protection: Encryption, sharing, retention
• Compliance: SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA
• Email Security: Phishing, forwarding, external access
• Cloud Security: Configuration baselines, access controls

Step 1: Browse Templates

1. Navigate to Policies → Templates
2. Browse by category or search for specific needs
3. Click on a template to preview details
4. Review included controls and requirements

Step 2: Select and Customise

1. Click "Use This Template"
2. Modify the policy name and description
3. Adjust requirements to match your needs
4. Remove or add controls as needed

Step 3: Configure Settings

1. Set the user/group scope
2. Adjust compliance thresholds
3. Configure notification preferences
4. Set review schedule
