Monitor policy compliance and handle violations.
Overview
Once policies are created, Bleach continuously monitors compliance and alerts you to violations. Learn how to track compliance and handle issues.
Step 1: View Compliance Dashboard
- Navigate to Policies → Compliance Dashboard
- View overall compliance score
- See compliance by policy and category
- Identify policies with lowest compliance
Step 2: Review Violations
- Click on a policy to see violations
- View affected users or resources
- See violation details and evidence
- Check violation age and trend
Step 3: Handle Violations
For each violation, you can:
- Remediate: Fix the issue directly or assign to owner
- Accept Risk: Document exception with justification
- Dismiss: Mark as false positive with reason
- Escalate: Route to management for decision
Step 4: Configure Automated Actions
- Set up automatic notifications for violations
- Configure escalation rules (e.g., after 7 days)
- Enable auto-remediation for specific violations
- Set up manager approval workflows
Step 5: Generate Reports
- Export compliance reports for auditors
- Schedule recurring compliance summaries
- Generate trend reports over time
- Create executive summary reports
Enforcement Modes
- Monitor: Track compliance without blocking
- Warn: Notify users of violations
- Enforce: Automatically remediate or block
